Introduction

As a Sports College, Mounts Bay School aims to be the hub of sports development for the whole of the Penwith District. 

Offering superb facilities for a wide range of traditional and more unusual activities, our position as a Sports College is representative of our involvement with the Government’s Plan for Sport.

As host to the Penwith School Sports Partnership (SSP), Mounts Bay is just one of four Sports Colleges in the county providing facilities and activities to schools throughout the local community. We play an important part in delivering the key strategy of providing all young people within the Penwith District with access to five hours of 'high quality' physical education per week.
